How applications are decided
Every application is reviewed by the BASDU Selection Committee, which makes one of three decisions:
Terms & conditions
Approved centre monitoring
Approval is a commitment to keep standards high. All approved centres agree to regular monitoring by BASDU.
Annual announced visit
BASDU will carry out one announced quality visit to each approved centre every year, arranged in advance with the centre.
Unannounced visits
BASDU may also make unannounced visits at any time, to ensure the integrity of training and assessment and that BASDU standards are consistently maintained.
Approved centre application form
Please complete every section. Your application will be reviewed by the BASDU Selection Committee. Fields marked * are required.
There is no charge to apply. Once your centre has met every requirement, we will move you to the final stage, where the £450 approval fee is paid and your approval is confirmed. If your application is referred or refused, you pay nothing.
